2018 Conflict Minerals Policy

HG Genuine recognizes the risk that the illegal extraction and trading of Conflict Minerals may cause human rights violations and environmental degradation, as well as fuel military conflict by directly or indirectly financing or benefiting armed groups. We actively work to find a sustainable solution to the issue of conflict minerals and commit to adopt, widely disseminate and incorporate in contracts and/or agreements with suppliers the following policy on responsible sourcing of minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas:


1. Resolutely fulfill social environmental responsibility;


2. Do not support or use minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas, do not contribute to illegal exploitation and trading of conflict minerals that lead to military conflicts or human rights violations and environmental degradation;


3. Require suppliers to conduct due diligence program according to <OECD Due Diligence Guidance>; Determine the source of tin (Sn), tungsten (W), tantalum (Ta), gold (Au) minerals used; And promise not to encourage Illegal mining and trading of conflict minerals which lead to human rights violations and environmental degradation.
